Acontece na noite desta segunda-feira (17), em Los Angeles, a 70ª edição do Emmy Awards. A premiação é destinada às principais produções e profissionais da televisão norte-americana, e reúne dezenas de famosos que concorrem ao prêmio. A apresentação da cerimônia fica a cargo de Colin Jost e Michael Che, dois dos comediantes do multipremiado Saturday Night Live.
A premiação está marcada para as 21h, no horário de Brasília, mas as estrelas começam a chegar no tapete vermelho a partir das 19h, quando o canal E! inicia a transmissão, com apresentação de Ryan Seacrest e Giuliana Rancic. O Canal de TV a cabo TNT começa a transmissão do taptete vermelho às 20h, e, na sequência, das 21h à 0h, transmite a cerimônia.
