“Who’s first for their free hug?!” -Maggie #bemoremaggie • • • Happy Friday! What are your weekend plans? Me and the girls are going on some long walks and cuddling on the sofa! Can’t wait to take them out tomorrow morning. It’s been so hot that I’m getting up early and heading to the beach while the tide is out! Cute puppies and sandy toes… what more could a furbaby mama ask for?? • • • #rescuedogsofinstagram #lifeofdogs #blinddog #blinddogs #blinddogsofinstagram #rescuedogsofig #rescuedog #rescuedogsofinsta #rescuedogsrule #bighug #netflixdogstory #netflixdogs #dogsofsocal #dogsofig #muttsofinsta #differentlyabled #wildatheartfoundation #dogsarefamily #freehugs #bestwoof #rescuedogsuk

“Guess what….I am now a registered therapy dog!! Do you think I’ll be able to make people happy?” -Maggie #bemoremaggie #bemoredog • • • As many of you know.. Maggie has a heart that loves unconditionally! Her spirit is infectious! She has a has a big personality. And she has and aurora that is so calming. Her story catches the hearts of many and reminds us all of our inner strength. Since the first time I met Maggie I knew she would make a great therapy dog if she wanted to be. Thankfully we found a charity that not only uses the healing power of dogs but also teaches the importance of animal welfare. Yesterday me and Maggie went to meet with her assessor, @maherandhounddogtraining she flaunted her stuff and gave it her best go and she PASSED. Maggie is now a registered therapy dog with @underdog_international . She and I will speak to schools and work hands on with youngsters. I know what happened to Maggie was horrendous but if her story can educate and inspire others to do good then at least we can do our part to make this world a little brighter. • • • #therapydog #therapydogsrock #therapydogsofinstagram #therapydoglife #dogtherapy #gooddoggos #dogisgood #gooddoggie #gooddoggo #rescuedogs #rescuedogsarethebestdogs #rescuedogsofinsta #rescuedoglife #rescuedoglove #dogslove #lovedogs #doglover #blinddog #dogsofinstagram #dogsoflondon #rescuedogstory #disableddogsofinstagram #dogsaretherapy #dogsaremytherapy

“I’ve not been well today, and am in need of some positive thoughts. My earless ear is sore. Mom got me antibiotics and I’m feeling better now that I’ve got cuddles off of my sister.” -Maggie #feelingpoo #bemoremaggie • • • Poor Mags hasn’t been herself today. She’s got a mild ear infection, thankfully we caught it early and there isn’t yet inflammation in her ear canal. Antibiotics and lots of love and she will be back to normal in no time. Because of the horrific abuse Maggie suffered and the lack of medical attention, Maggie’s ear didn’t heal well. She has a narrow ear canal and the cartilage that holds the canal in shape is misshapen much like cauliflower ear in rugby players. Because of this I have to be hyper vigilant when it comes to her “ears” thankfully she’s not acting to upset but still gave her a day off so she could chill and relax. Mishka obviously knew something was wrong and kept trying to help by licking Maggie’s sore ear. I’m so lucky that these two look after each other so well. They truly do love each other. • • • In separate news… I’m looking to upgrade my photography skills and need help or advice. Currently I take all my photos off my iPhone. If any one has a cheap (or more preferably free) camera or know where I can get one. Also any courses or reading material on how to use the cameras properly, it would be so well appreciated! 🥰🥰🥰 • • • #dogsofbrighton #dogloversofig #doglover #doglovers #dogloverchile #dogloversonly #dogsofdc #dogsofchicago #dogsofbuffalo #dogsofberlin #ukdogsofinsta #ukdogsofinstagram #dogsoftheuk #dogsofuk #ilovedogs #ilovedogs🐶 #furbabiesarethebest #furbabies #furbabylove #furbabymama #cuddlepuppy #mycuddlebuddy

“My name is Maggie and I’m a rescue dog. I’m happy, friendly and just want to be loved. But I was attacked and suffered horrific abuse for no reason. All I wanted was to love those who hurt me. With time I healed and now have a lovely home with my mom and fur sister. We live in this beautiful city called Brighton which each year celebrates love in all its forms. We will be watching on and celebrating @brightonprideofficial this year and can’t wait! Who you love shouldn’t make you a target. Who we love should be celebrated and cherished. Love is pure and love is good. Love can conquer all and love can heal all wounds..” -Maggie #loveislove #bemoremaggie #🏳️‍🌈 • • • June 28th- 29th 1969 was the start of the Stonewall Riots. Widely known as one of the most important events leading to the LGBT liberation movement. This year marks 50 years since these protests and while we have come so far there is still more that needs to be done across the world. I think it goes without saying, that here on Maggie’s page, we are completely inclusive. We don’t care about your sexuality, gender, race, religion, disabled or if you’re a three headed alien vacationing here on Earth… all that matters is who you are on the inside. So love who you want and know that me and Maggie and @theadventuresofmishka support you! Be kind to one another and we can do great things. Forgive one another like Maggie forgave us humans. Think before you speak and choose to be kind whenever you can. • • • #pride #lgbtpride #pride2019 #gaypride #queerpride #genderfluidpride #nonbinarypride #bisexualpride #transgenderpride #trans #transgender #mydogist #gayuk #lesbian #bi #bisexual #pansexual #nonbinary #gaydogdad #proudtobegay #brightonpride #gaypridebrighton #brightonpride2019 #brightondogs #dogsofbrighton #rescuedogsofinsta #rescuedogsofig

“Do you love me as much as my new friends…?” – Maggie #bemoremaggie • • • Well what a week it has been! First off I’m sorry for the sad video yesterday I just feel like we have this platform and I need to use it for good. If you would like to donate to help Maggie’s charity there is a link in my bio. @wild_at_heart_foundation So what’s happened this week? Well Maggie and I had a meeting with a very amazing woman. We went on a little stroll with this mystery lady (and her two sausage dogs) scheming up something I know you are going to LOVE! I won’t tell you what it is but I will give you a hint… she’ll need to sign it with her PAW-tograph. I can’t wait to hear your guess! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Also we have been practicing for our first school visit as a therapy dog. Our practice includes me talking to myself in the mirror and Maggie standing there and looking cute. It comes so naturally to Mags, she doesn’t even need to practice. I also took the girls to see their favourite friend Anne at our local care home! Biscuits were eaten and cuddles were given, what more could a dog want? Then we ended the day by meeting up with this lovely group of youngster. Maggie is so patience and gentle which still amazes me after everything’s she has been through. So that’s our week in a nutshell! Hope you have an awesome weekend… and enjoy this little video of cute kids loving our Maggie! • • • #rescuepups #rescuepup #whorescuedwho #muttsofinstagram #muttlove #instamutt #disableddog #differentlyabled #noeyesnoproblem #rescuepetsofinstagram #rescuepets #seniorpets #seniordog #seniordogs #dogsofinstagram #cutedogvideos #cutedogvideos #cutepuppies #cutepuppyvideos #happydog #happydogs #happydoglife #happydoghappylife #animalsmakemehappy #animalsarefriends #blinddogs #blinddogsofinstagram #blinddog #sofluffy
